About MOVO-FPS

MOVOFPS

Build a first-person shooter on your phone, tablet or PC. Then ship it.

MOVOFPS is a game maker for FPS projects that runs right in your browser. Draw a map, drop in enemies, wire up what happens, hit Play, and you are in your own game within seconds. When it feels right, export it as a real build for browser, Windows or Android.

No code needed. No engine install. No separate runtime to set up.

What you can do with it

Draw your world

  • Sketch rooms and corridors from a top-down map, then flip into the 3D editor for ramps, terrain sculpting and precise model placement
  • Add lights, swimmable water, cameras, spawn points and decals
  • Draw trigger zones and waypoint paths for patrols and scripted moments
  • Stuck on where to start? The dungeon generator lays out a maze-like level for you
  • Build as many levels as you like and give players a level select screen

Bring your own assets

  • Import 3D models (.glb, .fbx, .obj), with animation clips picked up automatically
  • Import images and GIFs, crop them, remove backgrounds and touch them up in the built-in pixel editor
  • Import sounds, trim them on a waveform, stack effects like reverb, delay and distortion, and add subtitles that time themselves
  • Create particle effects like fire, smoke, sparks and snow
  • Feeling adventurous? Write your own custom shaders

Make things behave

  • Rules read like sentences: when something happens, if a condition is true, then do this
  • Ready-made templates for melee enemies, ranged enemies, turrets and bosses
  • Or switch on Auto-AI and get enemies that patrol, spot you, chase, search and attack without a single rule
  • Branching dialogue, cutscenes, inventory, day and night, weather and more
  • Prefer to see what is happening under the hood? You can view the generated code any time

Weapons that feel good

  • Hitscan, melee and projectile weapons
  • Visible laser beams, including a spiral beam if you want something strange
  • Aim down sights, recoil, muzzle flash, weapon bob and custom crosshairs
  • A physcannon-style tool for grabbing, freezing and stacking props, or even posing a character by its joints

Games that feel right to play

  • Jumping is tuned for platforming from the start, with coyote time and jump buffering
  • Optional noclip fly mode
  • Touch controls built in: joystick on the left, look and shoot on the right
  • Sandbox mode (M-Mod) lets players spawn things, tweak gravity, change the weather and mess with the world
  • Players can load community-made maps and entities into your game

Test instantly

  • The Play tab runs the same engine your exported game uses
  • Build on a laptop, test on your phone, no waiting around

Keep your work safe

  • Autosaves in your browser as you go
  • Save and load whole projects as .movofps files
  • Optional GitHub sync to push and pull projects between devices

Export anywhere (full version)

Every export comes from the same project file.

  • HTML5: a single file or a ZIP bundle that runs in any modern browser. Good for itch.io pages or sending a playtest link to a friend
  • Windows: a ready-to-open Visual Studio project you compile into your own .exe
  • Android: a ready-to-open Android Studio project you compile into your own .apk

You own everything you export. Compile it, sign it and release it however you like.

About the demo

The demo is a free way to try the editor properly before you commit. Everything works the same as the full version, with a few limits:

  • No export. You can build and playtest, but the export buttons are locked
  • 2 levels per project
  • 5 entities per project (characters, enemies, items, weapons and props all count)

Playtesting, saving and loading .movofps files, and GitHub sync all work in the demo. Anything you make carries straight over to the full version if you decide to upgrade.

Who it is for

  • Solo devs who want to prototype an FPS idea in an afternoon
  • Beginners who have always wanted to make a shooter but do not want to learn an engine first
  • Horror, boomer shooter and backrooms fans who want to build moody little worlds
  • Anyone who wants to make games on a phone or tablet

Built by an indie, for indies.
